I purchased your WebP plugin and it seems to be working fine, but I have a question.
Google doesn't seem to be very pleased when doing a webspeed test because all of the converted images no longer seem to have an expiration date for browser caching. The usual date we have set is 7 days, and after we installed the plugin, there is no caching at all on images now.
Should we be concerned about it? Do images no longer get cached on the users computer?
I think there’s a bug in the PayPal express checkout plugin .. when a customer uses reward points towards his total, it doesn’t get change the total sent to PayPal and the transaction fails.
It looks like there's a bug in the Rich Cards plugin when being used on Topic pages - after the description variable, there's a comma but no variable following it, so Google reads it as broken..
Sorry - I meant to include this link to google which shows the field for additional image links :

Hi there -
Currently your rich cards plugin uses a thumbnail URL for the “image” field.
Would it be possible to list the full-size main product instead? Or even better, list both?
The reason I ask is because google search has a minimum of 250x250, and the thumbnails are only 320px. Google says the optimum size is 800x800, so using the full size product image as a link would be the better way to go.
I’m not seeing a lot of images being shown when searching for products on the site.
Just a suggestion.
Thanks!
Hi there,
On your next update for Simple Collections, would it be possible to add a "Preview" button on the admin screen when making a new collection (Similar to the preview button while managing products/categories).
Currently I have to go to the SEO tab to grab the URL and then paste it in the browser. It would just make the process a bit easier :)
Cheers!
Hello,
When configuring the Google Image XML Sitemap plugin there is options to load the XML file with data using %pictureTitle% and %alternateText%.
However the plugin doesn't write the actual TITLE and ALT of the image that is stored in the database.. when looking at the XML file, they are all overwritten with generic values like "Show products manufactured by" or "Picture for category", etc.
Is it not possible to load the actual image Title and ALTs data from the database?
Thanks
Hello,
I was checking a product page of mine the other day and it looks like Google is complaining about some missing values. Are these new?
Hi,
Very useful plugin - would it be possible to code the region into the hreflang tag on product pages? Right now it just passes the two-letter language code, but not the region (ie: en-CA for Canadian English, fr-CA for Canadian French, en-US for American English). Apparently Google takes notice of this in their search results.

Hi, just checking to see if you've made any progress..?
